Busy Weekend and Good News

Thank you to those who commented on my post about losing my temper. Intellectually, I know that I have to find a way to work with the system. Sometimes (like Friday) having to place nice is just outside my abilities.

Still, I have standards for my own behavior and losing control of my tongue in a parking lot does not meet them. When the barn office opens on Wednesday, I’m going to see if just filing a complaint accomplishes anything at all. We’ll go from there. I’m a delegate for the AFAP conference on November 17th so maybe they will have some ideas of how to proceed if nothing happens before then.

On a happier note, I spent Sunday photographing some lovely pairs for the Fort Campbell dressage test. Over about five hours, I took just shy of 2400 pictures. Bright sunlight, fall foliage and lovely riding made for wonderful photos. I posted a brief sneak peak at my photography blog. I’m about half way through editing those pictures and very excited to share!

Another bit of good news came today by way of Army Wife Talk Radio. Army Wife Network’s  radio show airs on Monday nights at 8 pm EST. You can also catch the podcast at the main website: Army Wife Network. Any way, the good news is that I was the winner of AWN’s Household 6 contest!! I am so excited about this opportunity.  *happy dance*
