I was on the radio!

I mentioned in an earlier post that I’ve been selected as one of 3 finalists in Army Wife Network‘s Household 6 contest.

Tonight I was interviewed on their Monday evening radio show. I was nervous! But Tara and Star are wonderfully friendly (which I knew, having met them Saturday at a AWN Field Exercise). There was a lot of laughing and it went by really quickly. I’m looking forward to the November 1st announcement of the winner (and am hopeful!).

In other news, Yeager and I are preparing for a dressage show on Halloween. The Monkey is walking quite well now and his sense of humor is showing up more and more. I’m getting the house fall-prepped: pulling out winter clothes, changing beds to heavier linens, checking the windows for drafts. Tomorrow I need to pull out my fall decorations. I’ve usually done that by now. Oh well.

And now, I’m going to bed. I have some really cute pictures for Mamarazzi Monday, but they’ll have to wait until tomorrow ’cause I’m bushed.
