Fall is teasing me

Fall is my favorite season. This year I am desperate in my anticipation for the cool breezes, gentler sunshine, the gorgeous colors. The heat this summer has been oppressive. Plus, the end of my summer has been incredibly busy.

I’m ready for the slower routine of fall.

This weekend, it felt like Fall was teasing me. Friday night it was cooler than it has been in months. I noticed some leaves changing color. We had a wonderful rain shower.

Today, it was hot as Hades.

Those couple of days cheered me up though. Maybe, just maybe I can wait till Fall shows up for good. I’m getting ready to visit my parents where Fall is already showing up. Maybe by the time I’m back……
