Blog Makeover!

I had a lot of fun (and some eyestrain)today reworking the look of this blog.There are so many resources out there on the blogosphere to help those who want to DIY. I made the current header with the help of Clover Lane, who I found by way of Sneaky Mama Blog Design. By browsing these two wonderful blogs (and enjoying posts on a variety of other topics), I was able to rework the design of the blog and make it a bit more personal and unique. All very simple techniques that required little in the way of skill but made a HUGE difference in the design appearance. It was fun to be creative in a new way.

Plus, I’ve long been jealous of the gorgeous photo headers that so many Mommy Blogs have. I wanted one!! I have a feeling that now that I know how, I’m going to feel the need to regularly rotate.

If you are looking to spice up a blog- even if it’s a private one that only you read, I’d highly suggest the two ladies I mentioned above as resources. Simply wonderful stuff.
